1916, Sharon Baptist Church, a beacon of resilience, was first organized with 12 members and was admitted to the York Baptist Association. Despite a temporary dissolution a year later, the church’s spirit remained unbroken.
1938, It was reorganized as a testament to its determination and operated from various locations until.
1942, when the first building was proudly erected.
1950 We purchased our first parsonage.
1963 The church cemetery was established.
1966, After the first parsonage was sold, the church built a new one.
1967 an addition was built to the fellowship hall, which included a kitchen and a large open area with a fireplace.
1982 a second floor was added, and church was renovated.
2004 The Parsonage was renovated and become the church Administration Building.
2006 The Family Life Center was built.
2010 Elevator was installed.

Sharon Baptist Church is a place where people can meet Jesus and engage in life-giving community. A place where everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people are family and can have authentic encounters with Christ and live in community with one another while discovering their gifts and using them for God’s glory. Join us on Sunday for services in person or live streamed.

Baptize new believers in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Support our families by word and deed to be productive members of God’s Family.
Build people up in the model of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
